So almost a year since I updated this thing, eh?

What can I say...chalk it up to laziness, moving on...not sure exactly what it was, but I lost the urge to post a while back.  A few times I had come close to posting something new, but something came over and I just gave up the thought of updating.

I come back to this page every so often, and I decided to post this because I don't want the last thing I ever posted on this Xanga to be a movie trailer.  One would say that it's a fitting end, but I happened to visit this page, and found that a lot of people had stopped updating, deleted their pages entirely, and with the exception of a handful of friends (you know who you are), they decided it wasn't worthwhile to keep people posted on their lives.

My life as it stands would take way too space to update on every single detail, but needless to say things are good, and I certainly can't complain about anything.  Graduation is coming up, and I soon find myself on crossroads, and I smile at just thinking that with a few clicks of a mouse, I can access my thoughts from when I graduated high school.  Seems like yesterday.

I don't want to say "goodbye" because this certainly isn't.  I can assure you that I haven't gone anywhere so to speak, and if you're astute enough, you can always find me on THE FACEBOOK.  (Capital letters for emphasis folks.)  I know I'm hardly on AIM these days, and in a lot of ways, I'm sorry that I've lost touch with so many people.  Particularly those at Hopkins that made me start this thing in the first place.    I was just filling out a transcript request for Hopkins, and Pre-College and this page were the first things to flash into my mind.  Hope everything's well with you guys.

So while Xanga has updated with quite a few new features, I don't know whether I'll update again.  Maybe if I'm feeling spontaneous, maybe if something late-breaking happens, maybe...just maybe.  But until then folks, keep it real and I look back fondly upon the good times, the bad times....everything.   I still try to live optimistically, and I look towards the future with nothing but a smile, and a glimmer of hope.

Take it real guys, and feel free to drop me a line.  You'll know how to contact me.

It speaks for itself.

As you can probably figure, the MCAT's (and school work) is effectively eating away at my free-time, so thus no new entries.  Definitely a lot to talk about, but AFTER that test. (April 22nd).

As for me, all I'll say for now is that though it started out ordinarily, this past Friday was, without a doubt, one of the greatest days of my life.

Thank you, I'm still smiling.

To those who say I don't update anymore...I say, you are correct.

Is an update coming soon?   Sure.  How soon? I have no idea.

Just stay tuned....

Jon's cruel..but he has a point.  I lied, although unintentionally, so sorry folks.  Things have been hectic, both in a good and bad way, so on that note, let's see what's new:

-Valentine's Day was amazing.   I'd love to just leave it there, but I think I owe you guys a little bit more of detail than that.  Considering that this was the first year I ever had a valentine, I decided to make it special with a brilliant (hey, i'm allowed to compliment myself) 3 part plan.

Part A- The night before Valentine's Day (Februrary 13th), I had a bunch of pre-cut hearts at my disposal (not saying how I got them...although if you're clever you can figure it out), and I basically wrote a bunch of notes on them, mixing in personal quotes with quotes from famous people on the subject of love.  I snuck into Alexis's building, and despite the fact that her door was like a quarter ajar, I managed to stick the hearts on the door, and quickly get out of dodge before I was caught red-handed. (Hah, that's sorta a pun.)  Basically, I had a message from her later that night that went "WOW! WOW!"   As I had written on some of the hearts on her door, I was just getting started.

Part 2- Nothing too fancy, I had several small gifts for Alexis, and before we grabbed lunch at the luxurious Newing Dining Hall (eh...it worked), we exchanged gifts.  I had a cute Ladybug pillow (ask Jon, he knows the cuteness of it), some chocolate, and a card.   In return, I got a stuffed dog that's right in front of me as I type this (think we named him Dillon), with a picture of the two of us around his neck.  Further more, I got a bunch of candy, and a card.  But alas, the best part was to come...

Part III- Now, I haven't mentioned this, but I wore a suit during the entire course of Valentine's Day.  I wasn't trying to be Don Juan, it was just the product of an interview I had that morning, and decided I would keep up the look.  Needless to say, I had a night class, but once I got out, Alexis (who decided to dress up too, very nicely I may add ) and I took a taxi over Number 5 Restaurant, which in case you don't know, is probably Binghamton's nicest restaurant.    The restaurant itself would have been nice, but I had one more gift...a necklace I had bought months earlier, that I had very nicely gift wrapped, and is just nice in general. (I'm not going to go into specifics on the necklace..it's nice, I'll leave it at that.)  Alexis was so overwhelmed by the gift that she hugged me frantically, lost her appetite, hugged me again, went to the bathroom, hugged me again, then asked her food to go, took some pictures with the necklace, hugged me again, and then we took a taxi back to campus.

Overall, a perfect Valentine's Day.  Thank you Alexis for being a wonderful girlfriend. (In case she reads this...which to be honest, I have no idea if she does.)

-In other news, I joined karate.  Something I wanted to do my entire life, and I did it in the blink of an eye.  I'm learning a lot, and my instructor says that I am doing an excellent job picking things up.    Maybe I'll end up being the next Chuck Norris.

-I'm flat out disappointed in the latest Family Guy outings.   Just a shame to see a once-great show plummet due to mediocrity.

-On the other hand, The Boondocks is f'n superb.  I first watched it while down in Florida, and in the month or so since I've been back, have downloaded and watched every episode (only about 13 have been shown so far.)  It is just an excellently portrayed, very intelligent show that with a diverse cast, and razor sharp humor, is just plain fantastic.   It also helps that I've been a huge fan of the Boondocks comic strip for years now.

-Classes are going well, I have a Physics test tomorrow (this right here is one of my breaks), Evolution & Behavior on Tuesday, partial paper for Perception Lab due Thursday, and Judaic Studies on Thursday.  With the exception of tomorrow's test, this really isn't so bad.

-The MCAT concerns me.   Besides my reference to it in my last entry, the practice tests from Kaplan haven't been too encouraging.  Once this week's over, I'm kicking it into overdrive.  I mean it.  (Don't worry, I'll still have entries.  Just saying.)

-On a request, I wound up downloading almost the entire series span of Grey's Anatomy.  This means I am going to start watching the show really soon.  At least, I hope so. (Side Note: I have a tough time watching stuff on my computer, just because I'm compelled to do so much other stuff.   Bah.)

That should hold over you for a bit....back here soon enough.
